I'm a traveller at heart. I lived in Canada for a year and it's a place I hope to return to for longer if I can. Spent almost 2 months in New Zealand which is a beautiful country I also want to return to at some point and I have made some brief-ish visits to Wales, France, Italy, West Coast America and Mexico. My homeland though is England and it's a place that's home, despite what I think of it sometimes.
I'm an avid reader of anything good and I like to try peoples recommendations as well as write myself, with varying success. I enjoy music and I also love film and television of all kinds. I have a special passionate love for science fiction, fantasy, westerns and action/drama on screen and in literature. You can find good films and books worth watching/reading and remembering in any genre, though sometimes you have to search for them. Going to the cinema is also part of the film experience for me and something worth making the effort for.

bythewatch) where I'm making a collection of reviews for films, television, books and anything else I feel I want to make a note of. Also any icons I make that are worth sharing will go there.I feel strongly about the value of education and learning, which can be two different things and something which should be available to everyone at a decent standard. The world gets smaller everyday and all the people in it are not that different from each other. We all need the same things.
